It’s the end of the August, and for those of you out there who are truly Malaysians, there is one very significant event that is celebrated (or at least M’sia gets a public holiday for). Still can’t figure it out? Why, it’s the Merdeka Celebrations, ie. Independence Day for those who don’t understand Malay.

So what has MUMSU in store for you? Firstly, we are going to be getting Nasi Lemak with Fried Chicken from Kayu Nasi Kandar. Yes, from the Box Hill branch of this popular chain of ‘mamak’ stalls in Malaysia. We’ll be selling these for AUD 2 to our members. That’s xtremely cheap! Really, if you were to go to the restaurant itself, be ready to fork up in the region of AUD 7! Furthermore, our friendly COMMITTEE are going to be PERFORMING a COMEDY (T___T why me woody?) for you to enjoy. Now what more can you ask for? Truly Malaysian entertainment and food for just AUD 2! We’ll see you there!

IMPORTANT!!!
As you know, these are very very famous nasi lemak that we have here. Not only that, it’s super cheap. BUT… We are not buying a lot. And by that we mean super limited. And something to take note is that… Since all commitee members will be performing the skit, as soon as the skit start (around 12:15-12:30) means no one else will be selling the coupons for you.

My only piece of advice for you is… don’t come early. Come late. I can use a few nasi lemak for my lunch + dinner + breakfast + lunch + dinner till next week.
