It’s along Lonsdale Street, between Queen Street and Elizabeth Street CBD. If you know where Taylor’s College is, it’s right opposite of it.

Let me tell you what you will get for $69! Oh wait, you thought it was $80 didn’t you? You said it, we heard it. Through our feedback which indicates that a lot of our members feel that $80 is slightly not so affordable, our committee members have been working EXTREMELY hard just to secure more sponsors for this event which in turn lowered all the ticket prices. You have no idea how much we went through just for you. T___T And yes, even us the committee pay for the ticket at the exact price that you are paying to us.
What do you get you say? Let me break it down to you… So if you’re to get all these stuff yourselves:
- Dinner at 5-star hotel, commonly $30-40.
- Unlimited flow of beverages all night, commonly $10.
- Free after-party, usually around $20.
So that’s like $70 already right? On top of that, we’re giving out:

Tables are only available on a first-come-first-served basis. That’s why do not wait till the very last minute to confirm your table with us. I’m sure all of you would definitely want one with the best view of the performances on the stage at the night while I assure you that no tables will be suffering from bad angle view. If you do not have enough for one whole table yet, DO NOT PANIC! Talk to our committees or email us back at mumsuclub@gmail.com and we may be able to arrange something for you.
Sofitel is in City ya know, I live in Clayton! How to go and come back?
Sofitel is only 2 mins away from the Parliament Train Station in the city. As for return transport, there are Nightriders (basically a bus service) that operate until 4-ish am that pass by Monash University Clayton. And if you party until any later than that, you can probably grab the earliest train already.

Ladies and gentlemen, yes this is it: The final BIG event of the year by the committee that has brought you the many memorable ones so far. Yes, it’s our Annual Dinner & Dance 2006. This year, we’re making it grand, we’re making it big. The venue is none other than the 5-star hotel right in the heart of the city, Sofitel Melbourne. What that means is pure grandeur, and an amazing number of places to take the photos that you’ll cherish for years to come. And if that isn’t enough, we do our best to make sure our Annual Ball is never just your typical ‘boring’ fare. For that, you’ll just have to come and see for yourself.
